Wesco Extends Contract with Triumph Aerostructures

Supply chain management firm Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. has extended its just-in-time supplier contract with Triumph Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft Division. The contract between the Valencia aerospace industry supplier and Triumph Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft Division, a subsidiary of Triumph Group Inc., headquartered in Berwyn, Pa., lasts through October 2016. The extension will strengthen Wesco’s backlog and continue a valued relationship with Triumph Aerostructures, said Wesco Chief Executive Randy Snyder. “This agreement is an example of our long-standing commitment to support our customers in their efforts to meet the expanding production demands in commercial aerospace,” said Snyder, in a prepared statement. Triumph Aerostructures – Vought Aircraft has facilities in California, Florida, Georgia, Tennessee, and Texas. The company manufactures fuselages, wings, and helicopter cabins for commercial, military and business jet aircraft. Shares of Wesco closed down 12 cents, or 1 percent, to $13.64 in trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
