Aerospace service provider Merex Group will begin distributing aircraft parts made by a Texas manufacturer used on legacy military aircraft. The deal between Camarillo-based Merex and Thomas Instrument of Brookshire, Texas, will help give international exposure to Thomas’ products and services, in addition to provide new licensing opportunities, said Merex Chief Executive Chris Celtruda. “Their engineering and manufacturing expertise combined with our international supply chain prowess, make for an attractive combination and is directly in line with continued efforts to enhance the Merex product offering to our customer base,” he said in a prepared statement. Merex will distribute legacy military aftermarket parts for platforms including the Lockheed C-130 Hercules transport plane, Northrop Grumman Corp. f-5, the F-16 Fighting Falcon, F-15 Eagle and more.
