Wesco Extends Supply Contract

Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. has extended its contract to provide supply-chain-management services to PCC Aerostructures, the company announced Friday. Terms of the deal between the Valencia company and PCC Aerostructures, of Bellevue, Wash., were not disclosed. A division of Precision Castparts Corp., PCC supplies highly engineered metallic and composite parts, kits, and assemblies to the global aerospace industry. Under the extension through Dec. 31, 2016, Wesco will provide additional supply-chain-management services at more PCC facilities. “This contract extension speaks to the close working relationship we have with this valued customer as we partner with them to meet the demands of the global aerostructures market,” said Hal Weinstein, Wesco’s executive vice president of sales and marketing, in a prepared statement. Last month, Wesco, which also distribute parts, announced it received a contract to supply aerospace fasteners and hardware components to European aircraft manufacturer Airbus SAS. Wesco shares closed down 24 cents, or more than 1 percent, to $17.90 on the New York Stock Exchange.
