A Teledyne Technologies Inc. subsidiary has been awarded a contract from NASA to provide engineering and technology services for space missions coordinated by the Marshall Space Flight Center in Alabama. The contract received by Teledyne Brown Engineering Inc., in Huntsville, Ala., is valued at $350 million over five years. Teledyne Brown is a subsidiary of Teledyne Technologies, headquartered in Thousand Oaks. Teledyne Brown will support Marshall missions with space systems design and development, hardware integration and testing, and prototype development and process development. The selection of Teledyne Brown to provide these services is a reflection of the company’s performance in space engineered systems, said Teledyne Chairman and Chief Executive Robert Mehrabian in a statement. Share of Teledyne closed Friday at $76.49, up $1.11 or 1 percent in trading on the New York Stock Exchange.
