National Technical Expands Santa Clarita Facility

National Technical Systems Inc. has opened a site at its Santa Clarita location to test engine- and fuel-system parts used in commercial and military aircraft. The move by the Calabasas company allows it to provide additional services to its aerospace and military clients, who make up about 30 percent of its business, said company Chief Executive William McGinnis. “These fuel-component testing services supply our aerospace and military customers with an important new resource for their critical parts-qualification requirements,” said McGinnis, in a prepared statement. The site off Golden Valley Road has three test areas for fuel pumps, hydro-mechanical fuel controls, shutoff valves and other components used in engines and fuel systems. These parts are required to receive testing qualification to meet environmental standards for airborne and military equipment.
