Tenants Sign $17.6 Million Camarillo Leases

The Camarillo Business Center, a seven building, 400,000-square-foot office park, has signed two new tenants to leases valued at $17.6 million. Gold Coast Health Plan, a Medi-Cal administrator that serves more than 100,000 Medi-Cal beneficiaries living in Ventura County, signed a 10-year lease for more than 33,000 square feet in Building II, 711 E. Daily Drive. The lease is valued at about $7.8 million. And the U.S. government leased 26,000 square feet at Building IV, 760 Paseo, to house the Bureau of Ocean Energy Management and Bureau of Safety and Environmental Enforcement. The 15-year lease is valued at about $9.8 million. The Ventura County office of NAI Capital Inc. announced the leases on Thursday. “Each tenant was seeking a professional business environment with attractive lease economics that make sense,” said Bill Kiefer, executive vice president with NAI. Kiefer represented the landlord in both leases, 711 Building LLC in the Gold Coast deal, and the Los Angeles office of Equity Office Management LLC in the government deal.
