Wesco Aircraft Holdings Inc. on Tuesday announced the extension of a contract with a British aerospace and engine products manufacturer.

The Valencia aircraft parts and supply chain service company will serve GKN Aerospace, in Redditch, U.K. through 2017 at the manufacturer’s facilities in the United States and Europe.

The extension of the contract is an example of how Wesco continues to serve long-standing customers by increasing the breadth and scope of product offerings and value-added services, Chief Executive Randy Snyder said.

Shares in Wesco closed down 8 cents, or less than 1 percent, to $21.80 on the New York Stock Exchange.
