Voit Real Estate Services, the development company that built Warner Center, has restructured into a brokerage firm and replaced founder Bob Voit with a new chief executive. The Anaheim company built the 3.1 million-square-foot Warner Center Plaza and Warner Center Business Park during the 1980s under Voit’s leadership. With the restructuring, Voit will serve as chairman of the board and Eric Hinkelman, a broker and former executive managing director of the firm, will become chief executive. “This evolution, which has long been in the works, will now allow me to focus more of my attention on the development and investment platform,” Voit said in a statement. Moving forward, the brokers who formerly worked under Voit will become stakeholders and the company will focus on brokerage services, the company said. Voit, founded in 1971, no longer has a presence in the Valley. It maintains offices in Anaheim, San Diego, Irvine, Los Angeles, Gardena and Newport Beach.
