Woodland Hills Brokerage Acquires Competitor

Woodland Hills-based real estate brokerage Century 21 Peak, part of the Peak Corporate Network group of companies, has acquired Granada Hills residential brokerage Century 21 All Moves and its affiliated real estate school and escrow company for an undisclosed price. The transaction announced Monday adds 100 agents to Peak, which operates as Century 21 Peak and Century 21 Peak Commercial, bringing its roster up to 150 and expanding its reach into the eastern part of the San Fernando Valley, said Eli Tene, the firm’s managing director. “We are thrilled by this acquisition and hope that it reflects our commitment to reaching our fullest value as a leader in the Southern California marketplace,” Tene said in a prepared statement. The deal is part of a five-year plan to expand Peak’s presence in the Los Angeles market, Tene said. Last month, the 25-year-old Peak Realty Inc. – known since its inception for facilitating short sales – announced its affiliation with Century 21 Real Estate LLC. In the wake of the acquisition, Prellis Real Estate School will be rebranded as Peak Real Estate Academy and Prellis Escrow will become Escrow Hub, the company said.
