Topanga West, an assisted-living facility in Canoga Park, plans to open a new mental health clinic Friday. The ACT Health and Wellness Outpatient Clinic, located at 9003 Reseda Blvd. in Northridge, will offer doctor visits, therapy consultations, psychiatric medical services, case management, crisis intervention and housing support. From a business perspective, Topanga West handles inpatient cases, with 54 beds and 24-hour care for the handicapped and mentally disabled. The ACT Clinic will handle outpatient cases. Dr. Michelle Logvinsky, head of clinical services and programs for Topanga West, will have the same title at the new clinic. “Our clinic offers an array of services that assist people on the road to recovery by providing resources needed to reach each individual’s mental health goals,” she said in a statement.
