New SBA Office for Panorama City

The U.S. Small Business Administration has opened a new satellite location in Panorama City to expand the agency’s reach to underserved areas. The SBA partnered with ICON Community Development Corp., a nonprofit providing consulting services for entrepreneurs and small business owners, on the new office at 8248 Van Nuys Blvd. Natalie Orta, a senior area manager with the SBC, has been assigned to the satellite office. She has 20 years’ experience working with entrepreneurs and aspiring business owners. “I am excited to have the opportunity to strengthen SBA’s footprint in northern Los Angeles County, as well as Ventura and Santa Barbara counties,” Orta said in a prepared statement. ICON Community Development Corp. hosts the city of Los Angeles’s South Valley BusinessSource program, which promotes economic development, job creation and financial literacy for entrepreneurs and small businesses.
