Woodbury University will hold its 54th annual student fashion show May 5 at the Millennium Biltmore Hotel in downtown Los Angeles.
The Burbank-based university’s Fashion Design program, now in its 86th year, has a longstanding connection to Hollywood fashion. It was once home to renowned designers including Howard Greer and William Trevilla, known for his work with Marilyn Monroe.
“Our Fashion Design program has a storied and long tradition of fashion runway events for over a half a century,” said Anna Leiker, chair of Woodbury’s Fashion Design Department, in a statement. “Buoyed by the ongoing support of alumni, donors and sponsors, the Fashion Show is a seminal moment for our students and helps launch their careers in the fashion industry.”
