San Fernando Retail Building Sells for $850,000

A corner retail property in San Fernando has changed hands for $850,000, or $158 a square foot. The single-story building at 1031-1035 N. Maclay Ave. sits on less than a quarter-acre of land. It was built in 1949. Karl Niehaus of CREI served as agent for both the buyer and seller. According to a statement from Niehaus’ Brentwood-based brokerage, “the tenant bought the property after beating out multiple offers from other buyers.” CoStar Group identifies Daniel Zilberberg as the buyer, assuming the 5,370 square-foot building from Teri Weiss. Since November 2018, the store’s single tenant has been Wild Plum Wellness, a spa and yoga center.
