Professional testing firm PSI Services, headquartered in Glendale, on Tuesday announced it has acquired Caliper, a sales talent assessment company. Caliper has been in business for 60 years and is based in New Jersey. The company leverages decades of data to provide insights into employee and candidate potential, predicting job performance and workforce development opportunities. PSI will integrate Caliper’s research into its more than 15 million tests, including licensing and certification tests, managerial assessments and pre-hire employment selection to businesses, federal and state government agencies, professional associations and certifying bodies. “We have always greatly admired their approach to helping organizations recruit and develop the highest performing sales talent,” Peter Celeste, president of PSI, said in a statement. “We knew it would be the perfect fit to further strengthen and diversify our assessment portfolio.” Clients of PSI include Target Corp., Delta Air Lines, Department of Homeland Security, U.S. Postal Service, National Association of Legal Assistants and Center for Nursing, Education and Training.
