Warner Center Senior Living Complex Approved

Dallas-based developer South Bay Partners has received approvals from the city of Los Angeles to create a senior living facility in Warner Center with an anticipated due date in late 2021. Per Urbanize.LA, the development will be situated on an L-shaped, 120,000-square-foot parcel at 6233 N. Variel Ave. in Woodland Hills. It will be comprised of 336 residential units and 275 parking stalls located at-grade and on one subterranean level. The layout calls for an amalgam of independent, assisted living and memory care units, plus ancillary features such as a beauty salon, gym, multi-purpose room, swimming pool and yoga studio. VTBS Architects is designing the contemporary eight-story building. W.E. O’Neil will serve as the general contractor. The Warner Center project joins senior housing projects in the area by CA Senior Living and Spieker Senior Development Partners as well as a seven-story, 241-unit development currently under construction by California Home Builders across the street at Variel and Erwin Street.
