CareerArc Hires Execs

Human resources technology company CareerArc has expanded its leadership team with several new hires. Jason Blais has been brought on as executive vice president of sales while Linda Souza was hired as senior vice president of marketing. Additionally, Chief Marketing Officer Yair Riemer has been promoted to president of the career transition services business. The Burbank company founded in 2009 provides software for hiring new talent at a company as well as transitioning employees out. Its client list includes Cheesecake Factory, Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, American Airlines Inc., Whole Foods Market and Thermo Fisher Scientific. Robin Richards, chief executive and co-founder, said that Blais and Souza both bring decades of sales and marketing leadership, strategic insights and proven experience in accelerating the market expansion of high-growth B2B tech companies. “Yair’s appointment to president of our career transition services business will further focus and streamline efforts to rapidly increase our footprint in the outplacement market,” Richards said in a statement. Blais will oversee CareerArc’s social recruiting business. Prior to joining the company, he was vice president of inside sales at ZipRecruiter where he grew the sales team to 350 people and led the company to significant revenue growth. Souza will be responsible for the company’s marketing program, global brand positioning and growth initiatives. Prior to CareerArc, she served as vice president of marketing for several emerging tech startups in blockchain, artificial intelligence and more.
