Westlake Village Fintech Firm Joins Draper Venture Network

Goren Holm Ventures, a fintech firm based in Westlake Village, has joined Draper Venture Network’s DVN Beta program. Draper Venture Network is a self-governed organization comprising 24 independent venture capital funds that work together on investment strategy and corporate relationships. It operates in 60 cities around the world and collectively has $2 billion under management. The network’s Beta program helps connect up-and-coming venture capital funds with top investors and serves as a testbed for first-time funds and alternative funding methods. Goren Holm Ventures is a year-old blockchain-focused venture studio currently accelerating six cryptocurrency startups and incubating three more. It also produces L.A.’s blockchain events: Security Token Summit and Crypto Invest Summit. The firm is the Draper Venture Network’s first all-blockchain member. Their partnership will result in more exposure for early stage blockchain startups and will widen investment opportunities for GHV’s portfolio companies. “This takes our strategy of amplifying and exposing the work of the best blockchain entrepreneurs in the world to a whole new level,” said GHV co-founder Josef Holm in a statement. Alon Goren is the other co-founder. Draper Venture Network founder Tim Draper said he is “thrilled to bring in GHV as a member fund.”
