Cinedigm’s fan-focused network CONtv will live stream the Saturn Awards on Sept. 13, the Sherman Oaks-based film and television distributor announced Tuesday. The Saturn Awards honor the best in horror, sci-fi, and fantasy media. CONtv’s coverage will be hosted live from the Avalon Hollywood theater by actress Aisha Tyler. The program will feature interactive red-carpet coverage, commentary and a Q&A segment. Celebrities at the awards ceremony will include actress Jamie Lee Curtis, Visionary Award recipient Jon Favreau, Stan Lee World Builder award recipient Kevin Feige and “Stranger Things” creators Matt Duffer and Ross Duffer. CONtv is Cinedigm’s digital entertainment network that includes horror, sci-fi, and fantasy genre programming. Shares of Cinedigm (CIDM) closed Tuesday at 99.8 cents on the Nasdaq.
