After Acquisition, Defense Contractor Changes Name to AllClear

Aero Precision/Kellstrom Defense announced this week it has changed its name to AllClear Holdings LP to better represent its mission-ready mindset and precision focus for the aviation aftermarket industry. The El Segundo-based military aircraft parts distributor, manufacturer and repair station has operations in Chatsworth and Camarillo. Aero Precision acquired Kellstrom Defense in March, creating one of the largest private military aftermarket distribution businesses in the industry. Chief Executive Darryl Mayhorn said that the company envisions itself as one that is attentive to customer’s needs and maintains a continual mission-ready mindset. “With AllClear we will provide the right solutions every time,” Mayhorn said in a statement. “I am so delighted to share our new identity with the world and exceed all of your expectations for sustainment solutions.” AllClear’s sustainment products cover more than 40 military aircraft platforms, supported with distribution agreements from leading original equipment manufacturers, in-house and managed repair solutions, engineered products and manufacturing capabilities.
