SaalexIT has acquired Arctic MSP, a managed service provider based in Eugene, Ore. Terms of the deal between SaalexIT, a division of Camarillo-based Saalex Corp., and Arctic MSP were not disclosed. The acquired company will maintain its Oregon headquarters. Saalex Chief Executive Travis Mack said the deal helps the company achieve its goal of national expansion. “This acquisition grows and further enhances our capabilities in the areas of cybersecurity, cloud, network security, and compliance service offerings,” Mack said in a statement. “With the acquisition of Arctic MSP, SaalexIT will be firmly rooted in the top 10 percent of (managed security service providers) nationwide.” Arctic MSP Chief Executive Dan Herman said he was looking forward to expanding the company beyond the region it now serves. “With Saalex’s financial and technical backing, Arctic will become an even stronger IT service provider and be better able to provide top quality IT services and security for our clients,” Herman said in a statement.
