NetSol Joins Consumer Bankers Association

NetSol Technologies Inc. has joined the Consumer Bankers Association as an associate member, the Calabasas company announced Wednesday.The supplier of software to the vehicle and equipment financing and leasing markets said the trade association represents the nation’s largest financial institutions and the top providers of goods and services to banks.NetSol’s scalable products help banks and financial institutions to effectively manage their lending and leasing portfolios. The company’s premier platform, NFS Ascent, is a proven product for banks and the evolving finance and leasing industry, the company said in a release.James Freto, vice president of sales for NetSol Technologies Americas, called the association a premier trade organization.“We’re looking forward to being active associate members and taking the opportunity to highlight our modern lending and leasing platform NFS Ascent, which is now also available in the cloud,” Freto said in a statement.Association Chief Executive Richard Hunt said he was delighted that NetSol decided to join as an associate member.“NetSol brings a wealth of experience in auto lending and leasing from decades of deploying innovative solutions across a wide range of lender types, asset classes and geographies,” Hunt said in a statement.The announcement was made on Wednesday. On Thursday, shares of NetSol (NTWK) closed up 7 cents, or about 1.7 percent, to $4.23 on the Nasdaq, on a day when that market closed up a fraction of a percent.
