US Nuclear Updates Investors on Drone Subsidiary

US Nuclear Corp. has provided an investor update on the operations of its new startup subsidiary, Cali From Above.

The fledgling company, which started operations in April, serves as one-stop shop for everything related to drones, the Canoga Park nuclear detector manufacturer said in a release.

Cali From Above’s main products and services include pilot training; drone pilot service contracts for supervision of construction sites and regular inspections of solar panel and wind turbine power generators; drone sales for a range of unmanned aircraft brands, models and accessories; and production of advertising content for realtors, home repair, builders, country clubs, tour guides and other advertisers, US Nuclear said in its release.

As for the update, US Nuclear stated that Cali From Above “has already achieved consistent monthly revenue growth.”

Bob Goldstein, chief executive of both US Nuclear and Cali From Above, said that he expects the number of drones or drone pilots will exceed the number of cars – currently estimated at 1.5 billion worldwide – by 2030.

“Drones and UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) are a fast-growing business and US Nuclear aims to ride that wave forward,” Goldstein said in a statement.

In the past, US Nuclear has designed and manufactured most of the products it sells but that strategy can be a trap in the fast-changing industry of drone designs, he added.

“For this reason, we have chosen a multifaceted business model, acting as drone dealers, pilots and pilot trainers; this way we can stay agile and do very well,” Goldstein said in his statement.

Shares of US Nuclear closed Tuesday up 3 cents, or nearly 6.7 percent, to 48 cents on the over-the-counter market.
