Jamie Chien. As the Advertising Sales Manager of the Business Journal, Jamie is in charge of the day-to-day operations of the advertising department for the publication. Jamie also specializes in the marketing campaigns for the Commercial Real Estate and Health Care Industries. Before joining the SFVBJ in 2000, Jamie was a staff member at the Valley Industry and Commerce Association (VICA) getting familiar with the Valley's business community. Over the past eight years at the SFVBJ, Jamie has had the unique opportunity to work with some of the Valley's most influential business decision makers.
Jamie also is an active member of the San Fernando Valley Jaycees, Valley Industry and Commerce Association and Economic Alliance of the San Fernando Valley. The time that he cherishes the most is time spent with his infant daughter and wife.

Advertising Account Manager, Rita Bishop, joined the Business Journal team in May of 2007, and represents Banks, Credit Unions, Money Managers, Aviation, Ad Agencies, Public Relations Firms, Security Companies, Moving & Storage and Automotive companies in customizing their advertising campaigns.
Previously, Rita was the Creative Projects Manager at the Daily News of Los Angeles spending 11 years in the advertising department. Rita's time at home is spent with two daughters, two cats, two dogs, and one husband who all love to watch lots of movies and reality shows, as well as ride bikes and rollerblade around the neighborhood.

Advertising Account Manager, Jane Hamilton, joined the Business Journal in 2007. She assists accounting firms and law firms of the greater Valley area with their marketing and advertising needs.
She is a 2006 graduate of California Lutheran University with a degree in Sociology.
