Zane joined the Los Angeles Business Journal in 2022 to cover the legal industry. Prior to that, he was a city editor at Outlook News Group, where he oversaw the Glendale News-Press and South Pasadena Review weeklies. Before moving to Los Angeles in 2016, he worked for Gannett and Wick Communications publications in Louisiana. A native of Kent, Ohio, Zane is a 2012 graduate of the University of Louisiana at Lafayette. He lives in South L.A. with his wife and their three dogs.
