Douglas Emmett Names New Executive VP

Real estate investment trust Douglas Emmett Inc, which owns several properties in the San Fernando Valley including the Warner Center Towers, named Theodore Guth as its executive vice president. Guth will join chairman of the board Dan Emmett; president and CEO Jordan Kaplan; COO Ken Panzer; and CFO Bill Kamer as one of the company’s five named executive officers serving in senior management. Guth has been an outside business and legal advisor to Douglas Emmett since 2005 and played an important part in its transition to a public company in 2006. With three decades of experience, he has served in different legal and executive positions such as a law firm partner and manager, president of a boutique investment banking firm and as a professor at the UCLA School of Law. Douglas Emmett, headquartered in Santa Monica, owns Studio Plaza in Burbank, and several properties in Sherman Oaks and Encino, including the Sherman Oaks Galleria and Encino Gateway. The company also owns Warner Corporate Center in Woodland Hills.
