Wireless technology company Xirrus, Inc. in Thousand Oaks will deploy its technology in another school district. The company said it will provide a Wi-Fi infrastructure across Madison School District in Rexburg, Idaho, which is comprised of 13 sites up to 12 miles apart. Xirrus said the infrastructure will allow students and teachers to connect via laptops, smart phones, iPads, and other devices. Xirrus has deployed its Wi-Fi technology in dozens of educational institutions including the Moorpark School District. The company has also expanded internationally providing wireless services to schools in Italy, the UK and Australia among other countries.
