Health Network Making Acquisition

AMHN Inc. will expand its digital health education efforts with the purchase of Spectrum Health Network Inc. Terms of the deal between AMHN, based in Burbank, and Spectrum were not disclosed. AMHN, Inc. is the parent company of America’s Minority Health Network, Inc., which provides digital video education for medical practices that primarily serve the African-American population. Spectrum is a digital signage waiting room network built for the multi-specialty group practice and independent physician associations. “Spectrum will be a perfect complement to American’s Minority Health Network and will expand our reach in patient-specific health education,” said AMHN CEO Robert Cambridge. “Spectrum has more than 125 live locations with another 150 waiting to be installed and brought online.” The terms of the letter of intent include the acquisition of all Spectrum’s assets and liabilities and all of Spectrum’s outstanding stock in exchange for shares of AMHN’s common stock, the statement said.
