Casamba, an electronic medical record provider, has added HIPAA One to its partner network, according to a statement from the company on Thursday. The Agoura Hills business picked HIPAA, headquartered in Utah, for its industry-leading compliance software, third-party validation of controls and data security services. HIPAA’s software will be available to users of Casamba Skilled, Casamba Clinic, and Casamba Home and Hospice. “With the changing technology and payment landscape in post-acute care, staying compliant is as big an issue as ever,” Luis Montes, vice president of strategic partnerships at Casamba, said in a statement. “With HIPAA One, our customers now have access to a leading-edge solution that streamlines the compliance process and stands by their offering with a guarantee.”
