Valley Community Clinic has recruited a new member to its board of governors. Shelley Ring Diamond will serve on the board’s marketing and branding committees. She most recently provided writing skill lessons to nursing students for a local foundation. Diamond, originally from New York, studied at the University of Colorado before moving to California and earning a master’s degree in communication from Stanford University. Diamond joined the board after women from her book club sparked her interest in the clinic. Jessica Selva
