Loop Media to Distribute Drone Videos

Short-form video distributor Loop Media Inc. has signed a partnership agreement with Drone TV, a streaming channel for aerial videos from around the world. Financial terms of the deal between Loop Media, in Glendale, and Drone TV, in Minneapolis, were not disclosed. Loop will make the footage available through its business platform and its app for consumers. Drone TV is powered by AirVuz LLC, a drone video hosting website operator. It provides viewers with a curated collection of videos shot using unmanned aircraft from first person-view and drone racing films to aerial videos of music festivals. Loop Media Chief Executive Jon Niermann said the company was excited to offer one-of-a-kind content to its audiences. “Drone TV’s flawless library of community-sourced videos will be the perfect escape for nature lovers and drone enthusiasts alike,” Niermann said in a statement. Loop Media is a subsidiary of Interlink Plus Inc., a publicly traded company in Palo Alto. Shares in Interlink (ITRK) closed up 11 cents, or more than 25 percent, to 54 cents on the over-the-counter market.
