A Camarillo promotional products company is shutting down its operation in Ventura County, resulting in the loss of 145 jobs. In a letter to the state Employment Development Department received on Nov. 13, Perfect Promotional Products LLC said that the employees at 5217 Camino Ruiz, will be let go no later than Dec. 31. Of the total, 120 of the employees are production workers, along with 13 managers and 12 in administration. “This action will be permanent and will result in the layoff of all employees working at the Camino Ruiz Facility except for employees who work in the Customer Service and Purchasing departments who will operate out of an office location in the vicinity yet to be determined,” the letter said. Perfect Promotional Products is a division of Magnet Group, in Alpharetta, Ga. Magnet is the world’s largest manufacturer of promotional magnets and also puts company logos on desk accessories, bags, clocks, crystal and kitchen items.
