Ginsburg of Chamber in Sherman Oaks Dies

Ginsburg of Chamber in Sherman Oaks Dies Tami Ginsburg, a past-president of the Sherman Oaks Chamber of Commerce and sales manager for RE/MAX on the Boulevard since 1993, died last Monday in a car accident. She was 62. In addition to her work on the Sherman Oaks chamber, Ginsburg also was a co-founder of the Sherman Oaks Street Fair and served as a board member of the Sherman Oaks Neighborhood Council. She joined the Sherman Oaks Chamber in 1997. As chamber president, Ginsburg worked to create a close relationship between the association and the Sherman Oaks Homeowners Association. She was especially concerned with issues involving education, transportation and parking. Ginsburg was also a fundraiser for Children’s Miracle Network of the Children’s Hospital Los Angeles. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Monday, March 31, in the Empire Ballroom at the Sportsmen’s Lodge in Studio City, 12833 Ventura Boulevard. (818) 755-5000. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests donations be made to the Children’s Network in Ginsburg’s name.
