Paula Wilson has been named the new chief executive officer at Valley Community Clinic in North Hollywood, succeeding former CEO Ann Britt. Wilson has worked at the clinic in various fundraising roles since 1992, most recently she was vice president of planning and development. Wilson also served as CEO pro-tem while Britt was on sabbatical. Wilson will be in charge of all operations at the clinic, including strategic planning, board development, fiscal management and program development. First among her projects will be expanding the clinic’s infrastructure to manage its expansion over the last few years. In 2001, Wilson developed a five-year expansion plan which included a $5 million capital campaign and the purchase of a 40,000-square-foot building at Coldwater Canyon Boulevard and Vanowen Avenue. Before joining Valley Community Clinic, Wilson worked in marketing at the House Ear Institute, Planned Parenthood and Loyola Marymount University.
