Agoura Hills-based tech company ISWest, has acquired another competitor with its purchase of Woodland Hills-based DCN Internet. The purchase marked the sixth in a series of ISWest acquisitions dating back to 1997. Other ISWest purchases included TSCO in Westlake Village in 1997, Ventura-based Channel Island Internet in 1998, Ventura-based NCPlus and Thousand Oaks-based InfoSpec in 1999; and Camarillo-based VCNet in 2002. DCN launched their Internet business in 2001, building a significant customer base offering SBC, Verizon and Covad services.
