Chatsworth-based publishing firm, 101communications has announced that Application Development Trends magazine will be renamed Application Trends, effective January 1, 2006. The company believes that the new name more accurately reflects the editorial content of the magazine, as well as a dramatically changing market. “There’s a lot more to corporate software than development,” Peter Hutchinson, publisher, ADT said in a prepared statement. “And we don’t want to give our readers or advertisers the wrong impression. Increasing productivity, obtaining measurable return on investment, and using software for competitive advantage are today’s critical issues in information technology. IT management is less concerned about programming, and more concerned about important trends.”
