Storage Provider Reports Record 2006 Revenues

DataDirect Networks had unprecedented revenue growth in 2006, the Chatsworth company announced Monday. The privately held storage provider had revenue growth of 53 percent during 2006 and a compound annual growth rate of 43 percent since 2003. In the past year, the company moved to larger headquarters in the San Fernando Valley and opened offices in Japan and China. The company this year plans to hire 100 employees across all functional areas and geographies. The growth is driven by a market acceptance of DataDirect’s Silicon Storage Application storage technology from corporate and academic institutions and government entities, said CEO Alex Bouzari, in a statement. “We will continue to drive customer-centric innovation while furthering establishing our technological leadership to develop enabling storage solutions in our market verticals to better served our customers,” Bouzari said.
