CW to Stream Shows at Website

The CW Network will make available free episodes of some its top-rated primetime shows on its website, network executives announced Friday. The episodes will be at the CWTV.com website with limited commercial interruption after their original air date. The episodes will at the website for up to four weeks. The shows streaming at the website are “Beauty and the Geek,” “Supernatural,” “Veronica Mars,” “One Tree Hill,” “Everybody Hates Chris,” “All of Us,” “Girlfriends,” and “The Game.” Providing the shows online is a way to get viewers more involved with the Burbank network’s programming, said Rick Haskins, executive vice president, marketing and brand strategy. “As the network of tech-savvy young adults, our goal is to provide our audience with a community where they can connect with their favorite CW shows,” Haskins said.
