Sales Strong In Q2 for Easton-Bell

Strong sales in team and action sports equipment contributed to Easton-Bell Sports Inc. reporting a 28 percent increase in net income for the second quarter when compared with the previous year. The Van Nuys-based manufacturer had net income of $15.5 million on revenues of $220.8 million for the quarter ending June 30. For the same period a year ago, the company had net income of $12.1 million on revenues of $206.4 million.
