MOJAVE – The East Kern Airport District unanimously approved a contract with Michael D. Hardee Consulting of Tehachapi in order to facilitate establishing a government fuel service at the Mojave Air and Space Port. Such service would benefit a number of government and military projects at the airport that currently take off from Mojave but refuel at Edwards Air Force Base or Air Force Plant 42 in Palmdale to purchase the government fuel, said General Manager Stu Witt.
