John Spoor Broome, an Oxnard rancher and avid sportsman whose philanthropy helped fund the library at CSU Channel Islands in Camarillo, has died at the age of 91. Broome died Friday at Rancho Guadalasca, his home in Oxnard. He had suffered several strokes recently. For the full story click here
