The city of Thousand Oaks will seek grants under the federal stimulus program to fund 21 projects and programs, ranging from expanding free access to computers and the Internet at city libraries to citywide solar projects and improvements to the wastewater collection system. The City Council unanimously approved the city’s preliminary list of projects and a resolution supporting the projects that would be built with stimulus act money and funds that won’t impact the city’s general fund budget, at its meeting Tuesday night.
