Full-length episodes of “Lost,” “Ugly Betty,” and “Desperate Housewives” will be made available online following The Walt Disney Co. becoming an equity partner in Hulu. The Burbank-based media conglomerate will have three seats on the Hulu Board of Directors, joining directors from other equity partners News Corp., NBC Universal and Providence Equity Partners. Hulu launched in 2007 to provide programming from News Corp.’s Twentieth Century Fox and NBC to online viewers. Disney joining Hulu is a step in meeting changing viewership habits, said Disney President and CEO Robert A. Iger. Disney’s offerings on Hulu will include primetime series, daytime soap operas, select hits from the Disney Channel, popular titles from the Disney Studios library, and short-form content including webisodes, sneak peaks and episode recaps.
