National golf management firm KemperSports has entered negotiations to run Ventura’s two public golf courses, Olivas Links and Buenaventura, vowing to maintain and improve course conditions, city officials announced. Though based in Northbrook, Ill., KemperSports has an established history in California with 15 public and private courses. Among them are Desert Willow Golf Resort in Palm Desert, the Crossings in Carlsbad and Harding Park in San Francisco, host of this year’s Presidents Cup. For the full story click here
