The Simi Valley City Council on Monday held off a vote for a permit to allow amplified music and dancing for The Vineyards/Candlelight Kitchen & Bar so city staff can refine the conditions for approval. While heading in the direction of upholding the appeal to a Planning Commission denial, councilmembers wanted to tighten up some of the conditional use language, which would include no music audible at the property line at any time as well as no “walk-ins” to the restaurant, bar and banquet facility, located at 255 Stow Street.
