Film company pays fine for ‘illegal’ students

LANCASTER – A film production company that was shooting in Lancaster last month has been fined $10,000 because students involved in the production did not have proper work permits. Dharma Productions, which is producing the film “My Name is Khan,” expected to be released in India later this year, has already paid the fine, said Dean Fryer, a spokesman for the state labor commissioner.
