Workway Nursing in Burbank has acquired Outsource Medical Inc, an El Segundo staffing company that provides professional and clinical staffing to the healthcare industry. Its clients include several Southern California hospitals. “This strategic acquisition solidifies our presence in Southern California as well as provides us national contracts we can leverage to gain more business for our Workway Nursing offices outside of the region,” CEO Matt Johnston said. Outsource Medical complements Workway Nursing’s service offerings, Johnston added. Both companies have been certified by the Joint Commission.
