Council passes water ordinance

CITY HALL , More than 6,000 businesses in Burbank will now be required to affix water-saving attachments to faucets in public restrooms after the City Council approved a measure Tuesday aimed at water conservation. The Restroom Aerator Ordinance, approved by a 4-0 vote, requires each of the city’s 6,300 businesses, with certain exemptions, to purchase a low-flow faucet attachment to reduce water usage.
