Bar Association installs new officers

LANCASTER – During ceremonies to install its new officers, the Antelope Valley Bar Association on Wednesday presented an award to Justice Frank Jackson, whom past association President Avrum S. Harris called “the local boy who made good – very good.” Jackson, who grew up in the Antelope Valley and attended Antelope Valley High School and Antelope Valley College before serving as a judge in the area for 18 years, was appointed this summer to serve on the 2nd District Court of Appeal in Los Angeles.
