The summer job market for young people in Ventura County looks more promising with the infusion of $1.75 million from the 2009 American Recovery and Reinvestment Act. The California Youth@Work program has been launched by the Workforce Investment Board of Ventura County, PathPoint, Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Oxnard and Port Hueneme and many employers willing to take on summer interns.
