CPA gets Nod from National Trade Publication

An Encino-based CPA was named as one of the “Top 40 Tax Advisors to Know During a Recession” in the April/May 2009 issue of CPA Magazine. Tax Resolution Services, Co. founder and CEO Michael Rozbruch made the list, which was compiled out of thousands of qualified CPAs, for his efforts to secure favorable tax settlements between the IRS and business owners. Rozbruch claims to have saved clients in excess of $40 million since 1998. The firm also has succeeded in lobbing off as much as 85 percent of some clients’ tax bills, Rozbruch said. Those figures may have swayed the magazine’s accounting-professional selection panel, as the list focused on recession-era tax advice. “The recession offers unprecedented opportunity for settling your back taxes and gaining a new lease on your financial life,” Rozbruch said.
